Their solar roof tiles are original roof tiles with integrated miniature solar modules. They are almost indistinguishable from regular roof tiles and blend seamlessly into the overall aesthetic of any roof.
One of the main challenges of Autarq was to market their new and innovative solar roof tile brand and product that was unknown to the general public, while also achieving short-term sales goals and managing supply capacities.
Additionally, Autarq had long-term aspirations of becoming a hero brand in the industry. This required a delicate balance in the marketing strategy and operations.
To achieve this, we supported the lead agency, THE HEAT, and the founding team. We helped and advised conducting primary and secondary market research to gain a deeper understanding of the market and potential customers.
We suggested an agile and lean marketing operations and analytics approach that balanced sales with supply while ensuring long-term brand growth through an evidence-based and proven media strategy. To calculate different investment scenarios, we developed a media model that took into account various factors such as target audience, marketing budget, and expected ROI. This model helped us to optimize our media spending and campaign flighting. Through our marketing and sales strategy and media model, we were able to successfully launch Autarq's solar roof tile system and achieve their short-term sales goals while also building a strong foundation for long-term brand growth.
